Workshops

We offer Landscape Photography field workshops, both in Malta and Gozo. These can be booked, either as one-to-one, or as a group (max 4 people).

If you love landscape photography and want to develop skills to shoot a memorable image that you will be proud of, then get back to us. Whether you are a complete beginner, enthusiast or well-groomed in photography, we will offer you on location tuition, tailor-made to your needs and exceed all levels. Our aim is to help you level up your photography, particularly in shooting landscapes.

Photography is about light and emotion. We will assist you on the field, giving you individual attention, empower you to ‘see’ and ‘embrace’ the art of composition, light and exposure. We will be with you, in sync with the natural habitat, ‘feeling’ and capturing those moments, snapped up in images that you will cherish.

Custom Workshops

We are available to organise for you 1-day, 2-day or 3-day workshops. Our workshops typically will start with a sit down introductions, quick coffee/tea and short technical briefing.  We will then head to the field for on-site learning, maximising the best light. A minimum of 3 locations per day will be visited, which will include sunrise and sunset shots (the 1-day workshop will not have a sunrise shoot, whereas the 2-day and 3-day ones will have early starts to capture the sunrise). We will finish the day at dusk, weather permitting.

Our workshops include:

Transport between locations, minimum 8 hours of tuition, learning on location, one-to-one individual guidance (even if in a group), reviewing your images and basic post-processing techniques, using Lightroom. Use of tripod (on request) is also available.

Not included:

Meals/refreshments, accommodation, camera/travel insurance. (If coming from abroad, accommodation and transport from/to airport can be arranged)

Essential items to bring along for the workshop is a digital camera (although an SLR is preferred, but any camera will do) and a tripod (if required, we can lend you a tripod for the day). Any range of focal lengths lenses are ok, though a wide-angle is the preferred choice for landscapes.  Other equipment that is useful and worth it to bring along includes: shutter remote release, filters, instruction manuals, etc. It also recommended to wear suitable clothing as well appropriate footwear for our workshops.

Scheduled Workshops (2020)

Workshops scheduled by us are being planned for 2020: dates will be announced soon. These workshops will have a max of 4 people so that individual attention and guidance is guaranteed at all times during the workshop days.  There will be 1-day, 2-day and 3-day kind of workshops, both in Malta and Gozo.
